Amsterdam, The Netherlands, March 8, 2010 – Exactly 5 weeks after Holland Private Equity
(“HPE”) relocated from its office at the WTC in Amsterdam, the minister of Economic Affairs and
the mayor of Amsterdam officially opened HFC Plaza, the new centre for start-up businesses
which also houses HPE’s new offices.
The city of Amsterdam supports this initiative as part of a new programme to raise Amsterdam’s
profile as a vibrant financial centre where knowledge, innovation and sustainability play a key
role. These initiatives are a major stimulus to the promotion of the city’s financial industry and the
development of the Zuidas financial district.
The festive opening was attended by more than 500 industry leaders, politicians, business
relations, family members and friends collectively invited by tenants of HFC Plaza and enjoyed
strong publicity in Dutch newspapers. Below some impressions of a fantastic afternoon and
